Established in 2017, Camp Dan and Phil has hosted nearly a dozen virtual camps and hundreds of campers for a virtual summer camp.Camp Dan and Phil is now done entirely through Discord, and includes daily activities, game nights, and an end of the week awards ceremony and virtual party.

Last time page was updated: June 20231: What the heck is this?Camp Dan and Phil is an event lasting one week during the winter and one week during the summer where the goal is to have a nice time and meet new friends. The week is going to be full of fun camp activities, such as murder mysteries, storytelling (writing/recommending phanfics), movie night (watching dnp videos together), scavenger hunts, and maybe some little competitions here and there!2: Is the camp going to be online?Yes! No irl socialising required. You will needed a Discord profile tho, as the whole camp is run in our discord server.3: Do I need to be 100% active to participate?You don’t have to be 100% active every day to participate in camp, BUT you need to be at least somewhat active on most days so not to leave your tentmates all alone. Teamwork is the fun part of all activities and the friendships you make on camp can last for years! Don’t stress if you have other commitments tho; we’re just here to have fun!4: Can I help to organise the event?We are currently not in need of new admins.5: How do I sign up as a participant/camper?Follow us on Tumblr, Instagram or Twitter to be notified when Sign ups for Summer Camp opens!6: How many people can participate?Everyone who signs up will get a camping spot, no matter how many there are.7: Where is this happening?The main place where you’ll be hanging out the most is our Discord Server! When you sign up, you will be sent a link through whichever social media you used to sign up (be sure not to misspell anything or have a private account!). It’s mandatory you join the server or you will miss all the action.
In the server, you’ll be notified as soon as activities are posted, able to chat to other campers outside of your tent and can ask any questions you want answered!
We will use the server to post and run activities and to run the Tentwars portion of camp, where tents interact with each other and form allies, enemies, lovers and more! After that you will have your own ‘tent’ group chat, with a couple of other campers where you’ll complete the activities together. Some of the activities might take place on other websites such as various online games, but we’ll make sure to inform you beforehand!8: When is this happening?Camp Dan and Phil Summer 2023 will take place 17-23 July.9: I have another question?If you have any more questions we’re happy to answer them! We welcome you to a royal tournament, held in honour of their majesties King Daniel and King Philip!Join us this summer for Camp Daniel and Philip: Ye Olde Edition!Camp will run from 17 July through 23 July, entirely on our Discord. Each day we will have a different, Dan and Phil or medieval themed activity for each tent to complete together. In addition to group activities for each tent, we have camp-wide game nights, tentwars, and bonus activities for those who want something extra!We can't wait to see you this July!
